It can absolutley happen.  But I think with the round robin format it definately brings out the most consistant and long hitters.  You can't just beat 2 guys in match play to make top 16 anymore.  Gavin and Fernandes have proved they can definately compete in this format in the open division.  Once it gets to match play anything can happen.

Sure it can but the facts are that no 45+ year old competitor has ever won the World Championship Open Division, and the standard in that division now is higher than it has ever been.

That tells us that the chances of a Senior winning are extremely thin.

So Gavin (a Masters competitor) finished in top 8 on the weekend with a top class field of Open hitters and in the round he got knocked out it went to match play---he lost by 3 yards and if it was a #s round (and not match play) still---He'd have advanced to final 4!

Eddie (also a Masters competitor)was top finisher at T9 not already qualified into OPEN so he got that spot awarded accordingly

Anything can happen when your there and competing...

His golf academy is closed.  Not sure what he's up to.  I can buy used online.  I thought people might get a kick out of what this person is asking for his book.
