Great work this weekend Jesse (and crew).  Thanks also to Kevin Blenkhorn and his family for donating their time this weekend to help run the event.

I wish EVERY long drive event had the results posted like this.  Everyone REALLY appreciates it.

It was great of Kevin to help out this weekend, and the grid workers did a great job also.  They seemed happy as long as the beer cart kept visiting them!

I had the opportunity to attend the event and was extremely impressed.  Thanks for taking the time to put this together Jesse, you deserve all of the praise you're getting.  Thanks also to the grid workers, I'm not sure if I've been to an event where I never heard one complaint from the guys dogging balls in the grid.

Thanks again Jesse.

One note, I take it personal that you have me down as going OB 3 times!  Didn't know that was possible. :-)

Thanks again.

Very good job running the event Jesse, I got to meet some awesome guys and got to hit with some phenomenal LDers, this was my first year trying out Long Drive and although I didn't perform the way I was hoping for it was still alot of fun. Those low 4 degree cut stingers i was hitting all day were no good especially in wet conditions! lol so time to straight working on my numbers again.

I apologize for not getting to this sooner but my computer privileges at work have been monitored a little more closely over the last while....

Thank you. Everyone involved with the event from the competitors and spectators, to the entire staff at Meadowlands and my crew. Your combined efforts are what made this event a success.

We put 200 tries through in the locals over two days. Awesome turn-out. From newbies to seasoned vets, Sylvan welcomed a great field of competitors. Scroll down to see the results and you will recognize some names, of that i'm sure.

A huge thank you to Kevin Blenkhorn, his fiance Brenda, and their troops for generously volunteering their time and efforts all weekend.

Another huge thank you to Rob Engley, CEO of Professor Golf in Winnipeg. Rob dedicated his weekend to helping all the competitors with their equipment. He had his truck full of components and tools and every time I walked by he was working on someones club. He also donated new heads and shafts to a few of the competitors. Thank you sir. Pleasure to have you.

Also to Hutch, Chips, Easy money, Greg, and everyone else that helped on the radios and the clock... You guys are always willing to pitch in and I appreciate it very much.

Ideas are already floating around for next year....can't wait.

Thanks Jesse for taking the initiative in organzing this great event.  The venue was great, the campsites immediately adjacent to the range was a huge bonus.  Thanks to Kevin for working the grid all day in those conditions.  Had a blast and I am already looking forward to next year.  Keep it up and tell those computer geeks at your work that you are busy resurrecting Long Drive in Western Canada!!
