Not sure those yardages in Dublin were accurate, tales of Jack Hamm placing a 350 marker at the 300 point spring to mind Wink

There were too many "great moments" from from Sweden to list them all.  But, it starts with being hosted by a true gentleman and great competitor in Kari Hyokii. Everyone in Sweden, or at least Uppsala, must be on the same life program, because they all go out of their way to be nice. Many thanks go out to the host course, Soderby.  All of the staff went out of their way to make Long Drivers feel like professionals. If there is only one event you can get to next year, then you must try to schedule this one.  For me, this goes on the list for good times and great "away from the grid activities" like legendary events known as South Africa, Metter, Ben Witter's, and Los Cabos. This is the kind of event you want to bring your wife to, or your best friend (Mick), or your 700 wives (Ryan). You may get a chance to hit your personal best, or even win some money, you may get a chance to golf with a South African, an hysterical Englishman, a Scottsman, or the happiest competitor in Long Drive (Ben Tuaone), but that is in addition to a great vacation in Sweden.  Stay some extra time to visit the sites, and there are many, find your own Elin, and there are many, or eat some great food (who knew?).
Thank you Kari, Jonas, Ulf, and Uppsala for one of life's great memories.

I´m sure it will be even greater next year. As you said Kari...this was the first year and a good test on what worked good and what could work even better.
I know I will be there with my camera  Grin
Who would miss such a field and well organized competition.

Hey!

Just want to thank everyone at the Soderby event – Kari, owners, grid workers, staff, sponsors…everyone!  I think I managed to catch most people in person, but in case I didn’t, thanks!

Awesome event, amazing grid, quality international field, and a great bunch of guys - I appreciate all the hard work you put in to make last weekend so good.

Sweden’s awesome!

Count me in for next year mate  Wink
