The weather is supposed to be real nice all week so lets hope it stays that way for the weekend too. The grid is HARD and the winds are almost all the time tailwinds so if that is the case on saturday then expect some HUGE numbers called back from the grid...
Dewald Gouws and Ryan Louw will land in Sweden tomorrow AM (monday).
PS. check out my profile pic - that is where the action will take place!!!

Halloota 34km from the airport sounds about accurate! I picked up Ryan and Dewald a few hours ago from the airport. Don't know what those boys eat for breakfast in South Africa but those boys are fit!! Now that the guys are arriving here you get a feeling there is something special going on

Haha done...so you mean the rest of us are hitting for the second place Ryan is hitting it great, Dewald is back at it strong again, I am hitting it decent, Joe Miller, Adam Stacey, Dan Konyk etc...we got a pretty good field here!! I love it!!!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic to be practicing with these guys and competiting agains them on saturday! Isn't that every long drivers dream - to have a chance to compete against the best so you really need to push yourself to the limit...

Alright third day of practice is done. Results:
Ryan Louw 425m (465yards, he had 3 balls between 422-425m. That guy is sick...) KH 417m (455yards, one 412m and a few around 410m) Dewald/Mick Yelovich/Vincent Ciurluini all around 400m
The grid is HARD fellas.................Vincent was back at the grid when Ryan was hitting some bombs and rolls up to 80yards were not uncommon....
...to be continued.....

Two changes into the field of hitters:
Antti Saleva and Johan Tumba can't make it so Tom Hollingsworth and John McSloy will replace them.

Kari!
Mutta in the end, kyllä me teille vielä neljäsataset näytettään eipä käyvä kukkoileen siellä d;-)

I never really knew why Euro’s had so much brain damage, now I know…heat stroke! You spend all of your free time in a sauna. I’ve never seen a setup like that, so I assume that setting around in a sauna must be a big part of the culture. You would love Mesquite in August, it feels like you are playing golf in a sauna. Please make a video of a whole bunch of Euro’s in the sauna watching the USA guys in the finals. Also, get a picture of Mick Yelovich in one of those little cars in the parking lot. Gas must be really expensive over there.
Good luck with your event, the grid looks good…at least from the sauna. Please tell me you are all dressed in there. On second thought, I don’t want to know.
PS I would be freaked-out to be hitting in the finals knowing that a naked guy was sitting in a sauna watching me.
Well, Mick is right now in Stockholm with his buddy Adam and for certain reasons we decided it's best if they don't even get a car. I am sure Mick and Adam enjoyed their flight over here in the first class (Mick couldn't fit in the seat so they put the guys in the first class and offered them some champagne and caviar for free). Yeah I do agree that sauna thing is a bit extreme, it was not build for the event though. It's a comforting thought at least that when you are standing on the tee box you know that you can join the guys soon if all goes straight to hell. I might have to move the tee box into the sauna next year. Ain't that something, I could train all year round in warm conditions too.
