Uddala Longdrive Masters 2010  14-15th of August

 We are getting closer to finishing all the details about the event. 
 At the moment we have 8000 Euro to compete for. We will have Open, 
 Seniors and Ladies. There will be a qualifier on Aug 14 for those 
 not exempt and a mandatory pro-am for those who are exempt. The main 
 sponsor reserves the right to choose who are exempt. We will update a list here when names are dropping and the sponsor has decided if you´re exempt or not. 18 groups are playing so there will be at least that number exempt.

 The field will have 32 competitors, 100 Euro starting fee. The Swedes who are exempt will need to prepay (more info when you register) to be sure to get that place, otherwise it´s qualification. Qualification is 10 Euros per 6 balls between 9-15 on saturday. At least 12 will qualify.
 
 50 Euros for seniors and ladies. We need at least 6 competitors in Sen. and 
 Lad. to run the comp, if so it will be at least 600 Euros and 
 hopefully upwards. Double-elimination RWLDC format like last year.

There will be live results, as well as a live stream from the event to be viewed on internet. Nothing fancy but a camera from above the stands viewing the teebox and grid.

 Or stay at Orresta golfclub for 30-40 Euro a night 50 meters from the grid.

 Arlanda is the biggest airport, about 45 min away by car. If you 
 land in Västerås airport by Ryanair, me or Tony can pick you up since 
 it´s only 10 min away.

 We need to know who are coming so we can plan the pro-am.

These players have been selected to play the Proam and are qualified to the main event on Sunday.

If the players who are selected to play the proam can not play the proam  they will lose there exemption and have to go and qualify for the main event. The proam start 14 august at 13:00 pm

Is there anybody that needs a room for the event? Adam and Joe just booked a room and there are 1 room with 2 beds and 1 room with 4 beds left. Mail me or Tony if you want it.

Saturday morning qualification starts 9.00 in the morning and stops 15.00 in the afternoon. There will be 2 sessions with 5 spots in each session for the Open division. Seniors will have 3 spots each session and Ladys 3 and 4 spots in their sessions. 9-12 and 12-15. Each attempt will cost 100 Kronor or 10 Euro for 6 balls.

Saturday 14 august there will be a qualification between 09:00am to15:00pm. .

The first qualification round will be between 09:00am to 12:00pm the top 5 in the Open go thru to Sunday's event.
The second qualification round will be between 12:00pm to 15:00pm the top 6  in the Open go thru to Sunday's event.

The first qualification round will be between 09:00am to 12:00pm the top 3 in the seniors go thru to Sunday's event.
The second qualification round will be between 12:00pm to 15:00pm the top 4  in the seniors go thru to Sunday's event.

Dress Code / Footwear

•LongDrive contestants are expected to wear proper attire.  Participants must wear full-length
slacks (no jeans / denim, sweat pants, etc. are permitted) and collared golf shirts or mock turtle necks (t-shirts, tank tops, etc. are not permitted) during the Pro-Am and the Championship competition.  Shorts are not permitted( Ladies can have golf skirt or golf shorts. Players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing during all event functions.

Penalty for violation:  Disqualification

•SoftSpikes or smooth-soled shoes are required while playing Orresta golf courses.  Competitors may use metal spikes in the LongDrive event
