There are two Guinness World Records for the longest carry of a golf ball, one above 1000m held by Jack Hamm at 458yds, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA, on 20 July 1993; and one below 1000m held by Karl Woodward at 408yds, Golf del Sur, Tenerife, Spain, 30 June 1999.
If you add roll to the equation someone has hit a ball over 1.5 kilometres on the Scarpa Ice Flow!!
