fyi tour entry fees

For members of either the PGA Tour or Nationwide Tour is $100 per event. We have a new Nationwide event this year and for all others is $350. All in all, not bad for the peons. Membership does have its priviledges. Beats $1500 for a Hooters event.

Also...you can claim you are a "pro", but tournament officials can pull you out if they see you are non-competetive.

So you have to get a USGA handicap correct? I have a buddy who can really play. This sounds like something right up his alley. An insurance salesman who plays golf 5 times a week and plays scratch.
Thats the reason he doesnt have any money. lol plays too much golf. I have seen him shoot in the sixties for several days in a row. Granted he plays the same course most of the time. I want to mention it to him. See what he thinks. If its that cheap i will pay for a couple entry fees for him.

Yes. An amateur has to have a USGA handicap. The entry fees may vary depending on your location. Check with your PGA section office do get all the info.
