Thanks for posting your current stats in the disciplines. I am quite sure most won't. Atm I am doing 5x5's so I haven't tried max reps yet but at 100 bw I guess I do about 10+ in bench, curl and press. Most likely I won't reach 1.5xBW for 1 rep deadlift due to the old knee and dips should be around 25. I'll try doing all of them with max reps in a couple of weeks. Vertical jumps? I could dunk back in the days. Cleared 2m high jump at age 16 and today I can't jump over my fat cat as he lay on the floor

Vertical jump (normally done as a countermovement jump) is the best way to measure explosive power, especially in your lower extremities. Testing explosive power in your upper body is a bit trickier but is normally done with different medicine ball throws.
You need good "kinetic linking" (=muscles firing in the right order one after another), good core stability/strength and explosive hip/leg muscles to jump high - very much the same stuff as what you need if you wanna hit the ball far.

Today will look like this: I was down at the studio and did some technique and speed drills with 2 different heavy clubs and a normal driver. That took about 30mins. Now I've done 3 sets of deadlifts and will work my whole back and biceps (+ some shoulder prehab) today. I am lifting hard and heavy right now because I don't hit any golf balls + I enjoy lifting right now + it will prepare my muscles/ligaments/joints/cartilage etc for the brutal workouts before and during the summer to follow. Once the summer comes closer I'll start doing olympic lifts, medicine ball work, speed chains etc explosive stuff. I am listening to music and looking at the picture of the world championships grid that I got on the wall. In my head I am listening my own breathing from the loudspeakers on a silent late oktober night in Mesquite. One day......you never know........stranger things have happened......... It's not only physical strength/power that is needed, the most powerful muscle is between your ears.

damn ----its St Paddys Day after all--so being as he is a LEPRICHAN its undertandable!!! hes WIDER than he is TALL!!! I'd go for the 1010 record--but last few times the bar broke as i lifted it off the ground!!! Lol!!!!
be funny actually to get him to TRY n swing a golf club--being that strong--his flexibilty and range of motion is limited for sure!
