i am def. in. what i have to do to play this tournament.

where can i write me in for this event.

I've gotten a few emails about who gets the spots for the main event. Hope this clarifies this issue a little bit:

it will most likely be a 30 man field in the main event. The ones that get a spot directly to saturday's event are (rough categorization):

1) the international guys (does not guarantee an automatic spot though)
2) guys with REMAX World Championships experience (pretty obvious)
3) guys that do something themselves for the sport (f ex arrange competitions)

So basically it's all about how many quality guys come to hit from overseas. There will very probably be a few details announced during the spring that will make this event very attractive to a lot of guys even worldwide.....it's gonna be a tough competition fellas - exactly like we want it!!!!!

All that being said I hope everybody understands that it will be a lot tougher to get a spot directly to saturday in this competition than in most others in Europe.

We are having a meeting tomorrow so I should be able to come out with some new details about the tournament tomorrow evening.

Alright people,
had a good meeting again with the club boss and the event company.

Nothing new really to be told here right now other than all the signs show that it should really be a great event.

...and be prepared that the pro/am will be much more serious than most others with a few surprises

Guys,
I was just making (=playing with names) the very preliminary brackets for the competition and adding those names from the USA and South-Africa makes a great difference how tough the brackets are - now it becomes all of a sudden very tough for anyone to advance as a winner from round 1! Just like we want it

Sounds like its gonna be THE event this year in sweden! Looking forward to it!!

We are just in a progress of setting up a website for the event where you can find all the info. Right now there is no "official" way to sign up, just circle the dates in your calendar.

Well, the plan is to make this a "players" event so it should be good
