Hello everyone.  I have been in the sport for a long time and have been wanting to do my own event for many years and now that time has come.  Please take your time in going over the details of the 1st Annual Los Cabos Classic.  This event is going to be first class and is going to be held at a first class venue.  Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is one of the most desirable places to travel in all of the world, and what better place to host a money event that is sure to rival the grandeur of the World Championships!  Please see the details below.

Event:  The Los Cabos Classic

Location:  The One and Only Palmilla Golf Course, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (Top 10 course in all of Mexico)

Date:  May 28th-30th, 2010

Field:  64 man field

Spots paid:  16 * Guaranteed Payout regardless the size of the field

Prize: $20,000.00 GUARANTEED FIRST PLACE PRIZE!!

Structure:  2 day, double elimination event, with a one of a kind heads-up format during day 2
      * Day 1 will consist of the qualifying for day 2 (field reduced to 32)
      * Day 2 will then be competed in a "heads-up", NCAA bracket-style format
      * Each competitor will have a "seed" based on their longest recorded drive during ANY round on day 1
      * Seed 1 vs. 32....2 vs.31...etc etc will shape the brackets on day 2
      * The higher the seed, the better chance you have to advance on day 2
      * This will entice all players to bring their best to the box each and every round of competition
      * Day 2 is a single elimination day
      * 16 of the field of 64 will earn a check
      * This means you simply have to win ONE time on day 2 to earn your payday....the further you    advance, the more you're gonna make!

There will be a mandatory players meeting on Friday the 28th and the event will start promptly at 9am on Saturday.

1st they have to swim-then take a boat-then get on another boat-then snorkle-then take a bus-then rock climb-then cross a bridge-then zipline to the grid?
Man they are gonna be worn out by then!

Thanks for the support ! I will keep everyone updated in regards to the event & post results immediately. The guys can't be too picky getting free transportation. Right !! Just kidding !!! Just showing they guys activity options for those who are vacationing here before or after the event. Besides Kevin Bullard told me to have the other guys tired so he could win, or maybe he said he was going to win regardless so I should give the guys activity options !! I can't remember ?!!!!?

The Los Cabos Classic is proud to announce that the Golf Channel - Latin America, which is a direct affiliate of the Golf Channel, will be airing 3 (15) minute segments of the Los Cabos Classic. The event will be filmed and edited under the super vision of myself and the producers for the Golf Channel - Latin America, and I assure you this is only the beginning for television and our events.  We are very excited to make this announcement as it adds additional validity and recognition to what we are trying to accomplish in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
