Any LD'ers in the saskatoon area.. or even saskatchewan?  I have been interested in LD since the age of 17... competed as a 17 year old in swift current (2003).. and as a 21 year old in edmonton(2007)... i am now looking into getting alot more serious about LD, and was just wondering if there is anyone in the area to practice/learn with... i have been hitting the same club (bang omatic) since i was 17 and am in the process of purchasing a few more clubs (unsure of what to buy) .... any input that could help would be greatly appreciated... and am looking forward to talking/getting together with any saskatchewan LD'ers.

I think most of them (me included) abandoned Saskatchewan in 2001.   Grin

I think you probably competed at my brothers locals he held in Swift Current (his name is Craig Robinson).  He is now retired from the sport.

I moved to Calgary in 2001.  When the Saskatoon regional went bye bye, most the the ld'rs from there either moved or retired.  Sorry.

Shawn Robinson

PS, if you need a club builder, I believe Cam King is now working at Golf Town there in Saskatoon.  He was my club builder when I lived in Saskatoon.  He was great!
