We're renting a cottage in Ireland this summer for a few weeks to a month.  Looking for some local info if there's anyone here from that part of the world....

   Damn yer post makes me slightly jelous to say the least dude!   
  Ive got plenty of Family (all my Fathers Side is from and many still there)up on the northern coast---SLIGO area and some very Talented Golfers in that Mix---My dads cousin was coaching RORY McILROY as a youngster & in High School , and some in the golf business I beleve still as well.
    Ill get ya some info --as soon as i can get ahold of my Dad --down in FLA and get him off his golf course long enuf to reply!

ask away roach, if you want to find a cottage, you are prob best to stick to the coast, Cork and Kerry in the south have the best links courses in the world, they are also known for being Irelands main tourist spots.
