There have been nay Sayers for every president this country has had, that's what makes this country so great. I am a registered independent, Obama has had the burden of dealing with the worst economic crisis in almost a hundred years, everybody is a little on edge. Our government us dealing with the after math of the bush Cheney years, give the guy more then 10 months to show us, the American people, what he has to put on the table. No matter what direction he goes there will be millions of upset people. Cut the guy some slack.

President is a figure-head...the Congress controlls 90% of what happens in government.  When both are on the same side, bad things happen.  For instance...unemployment is not getting any better, out deficit is twice as big as it was 18 months ago, and our Prez gets the Nobel for peace???  And from a very reliable source...nominations were due when he was in office for one day?  Get real...Vote no incumbents for Congress in 2010 if you do not want the world to end in 2012. 

All about checks and balances...and yes, I went off the deep end, but truth hurts sometimes.

As someone in Canada (no interest in your political system) we have similar issues. Our province went from the richest to almost the highest in debt. We have a Heritage fund, which is supposed to protect us against issues like the economical down turn, however the 2 clowns that were in charge LOST more than 8 million dollars.

The 2 clowns mentioned above just got bonuses for 3million and 2 million.

I am also in the process of becoming a Police Officer, so yes Freak I understand where you are coming from. All I am going to say in regards to that is we (you, me, other police officers/prison guards and everyone wanting to get in) are a special breed and without us the world would be much worse than it is now.

Overall, I am not saying the government is bad, good or mediocre. I will say that they were elected by the majority, and so far anyone who has been in office has lied, cheated and lost money.

Don't hate on me, everyone knows Clinton had his negatives, and don't get me started on Bush. For someone to get elected after those years give him a chance to get going. In order to make money, you gotta spend money and things will get worse before better.

I am out of applicable cliches so will shut up.

Loom I seen that but right or wrong good or bad I get emails pounding subjects daily or weekly and I just look it up first and see where it came from. It could still be made up or true but its just stating it had the names switched thru email. I have seen so many of these and if the right person wants to bash any subject and put it out in email it travels fast. Another classic is the one about freezing plastic water bottles and then the high toxins that you intake as it thaws and you drink it. Go to John Hopkins site and they state it on the home page its nothing to do with them. Or at least it was on there a year ago after I was told about it and I looked for myself. Just check these out on Snopes.com anytime if you think it has the making of running someone or something into the ground. I just get sick of the crap I get emailed wanting me to pass on rumors. It stops here if I believe its garbage. Peace my Brothers..........
