Anybody brew their own beer?  I've been thinking about trying it.

Its great, but if you are time poor look at investing in kegs.

After you have cleaned 48 bottes of beer every time you do a batch you will be jack of it.

But be warned. you also have to be disciplined. You can end upvey drunk very quick if you have it on tap.

Checkout aussiehomebrewer.com.au they can show you how to do everything from kit and kilo to brewing from scratch.

Plus you also get out of it what you put in. I have had some really bad brews, but that is because the brewer has boasted that it cost them $5 to make the batch.

Go for it

I brewed my first batch 2 months ago and it was great. The kits cost about $65 and the mix for the beer is around $20. It made 23 liters of beer that was about 7%. I made a pilsner and it tasted like Richards White. The other good thing is that its not like brewing the hard stuff where you could get methanol poisoning which is a bad thing. It took about 3 weeks to brew it properly and was pretty fun drinking beer and making beer. Good luck
