Format Modification: The group pass the 12 guy's at 16 guy's

Guy's hit 2 set of 8 balls, Top 6 advance to double elemination format.

Winner  : 2000$
Second : 625$

So now toss in an extra night in a Hotel and have the USA guys arrive as well???   Sebastian ---im not sure what your doing or why with this new thought and tangent for the event---please explain and clarify as your able to us all.   

     Original event was to be a one day 4 event set up with 12 guys in each event and being OF CANADIAN SOIL ---for an opportunity to win one of four events that day and chance to pocket some $$ for a trip to CANADA DAY in Mesquite in Oct just before worlds.   So we all prepay and then you change the format and set up of it all??
Im baffled to say the least -----please give us all some insight and information as to why and what the changes are needed for??

I 100% agree with Toddo.  It went from 3 sets of 8 balls in 1 day to 2 sets of 8 balls over 2 days??!!  I'm sure that most guys will still be all over this event (again, thank you for taking charge and putting this on!) but pre-payments were sent for the "3 sets of 8 balls/12 Canadian competitors" format.

Im just confussed and a little upset that its now been changed since PAYMENTS have been sent and received under an (original) DIFFERENT FORMAT and SET UP.   

   Now an additional hotel fee comes into play to stay an additional night, meals, time away ect ect.   Not to metion that its a OPEN event now to all and any-----what happened to the HELP THE CANADIANS mentality from which this event arose to get 4 hitters some cash in their pockets to head off and take a run at  the CANADA DAY in MESQUITE in Oct.   Just kinda weird thats its now not what we pre paid into and had in our brains as to format ect ect...

Got to agree with you guys on this one. The RCQ was advertized as an event that would help the Canadians cover some of the costs if they were going to the Canada Day qualifier in Mesquite. Changing the rules after having guys pay their entrance fees is not right. Sorry Sébastien, you have some explaining to do!

Hi everybody,

The only thing we want to do it have 4 more hitters in each group (due 4 group was full) and give chance to win 2000$ and 625$ for the second.

I talk with some guy's and sound good idea, toddo or bert if you finish 2nd all day you will back home with nothing... hotel night 65$ vs 625 for second place.

But if that change hurt to much guy's I will go back to the original format and refund US guy's.

BTW if I go back on old format I have only 2 seniors and will cancel it. Do you only care of canadian open competitor or you think at our seniors

The format will be as original format onlyu one day and 12 comp per group. But due at the size of group and # of comp. it gonna be 2 set of 8 balls.

For some people hoe want stay a night we can do something on sunday, the grid will be set up.

Sounds good!  Any last minute practice tips?  Hey Kevin ... if you have any used left handed sticks, I may be in the market!  I'm headed into this comp with nothing but practice equipment and maybe a new El Diablo (if they replace the one that I shattered).  Toddo ... where did you get that GIANT travel mug???!!!  One might come in handy for this day!
