Several changes after finishing round 2.

Joe Shuba 419

As of right now Mike Brody is holding the cut line with 366.
Round 3 is about to start and 366 is the number to beat for those not already over that number.

It's getting out of control here.  Took 401 to make the finals and 414 is the shortest in the finals so far.  Patrick Hopper is leading with a ridiculous 428 and Consavage in 2nd with 424

Wow!    Shocked  Those are some impressive numbers.

Has the wind changed direction?  If its still like it was earlier those numbers are amazing.

IrishBomber, this was the 1st time I have ever seen Mr. Shuba perform and I will agree with you 100%.  Absolutely amazing.

I wouldn't go so far as handing Shuba the world championship. That is a little bit of an overstatement and I think several guys might just take offense to that.

HOWEVER......

I would certainly have to say that he is up there in the very elite class of guys who have a more than excellant chance of winning it all....if this weekend is an indication of how he competes in every event. Remember, the worlds has many many rounds (or so I've heard) and consistancy is as much a part of who wins as raw power. That's not to say he is not consistant just that he would have to be very consistant that weekend to win. He is amazing to watch for sure and the sky is the limit for him. He is one of the few guys out there that serperate themselves into an elite class.

In other words, Shuba is a guy who I would pay money to see compete!

IF he is on, the IF is always the exception.  IF he is on, it is my opinion that he is damn near unbeatable, did not mean any disrespect to all the other elite hitters.  Plus, I like to stay on his good side Smiley

ive been competing for bout 5 years now. When i compete i am caught up in what im doin so im not really watching my competition. But when you host a shootout and run the box you see first hand whats up.These guys have some ridiculous fast hands or are just flat out big ol biscuits. Very impressed in what i saw. Just glad i had a buy in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and the final round.lol. These guys are serious and have a drive for their drive. These guys are raisin the bar in long drive. Not only are these guys fast and fit, these guys have great fundamentals. Thats the most important. What I learned by having a birds eye view is this; I cant expect to get any longer if i continue to grip the club neutral. Thats the scoring grip for those good golfers. But if you wanna compete in long drive you have to have a long drive grip to better release them hands. I will be easing the left a lil more in the fingers and the right more in the palm. Better, quicker release equals more speed more power. Lil by lil for the Shank. Great job guys. Thanks for the lesson.
