ROGER???

If yer reffering to ROGER JAY (ICEMAN) best of luck!!!   Hes vanished from, the LD world and scene after a few years of hosting HIS events!

Yes he was involved with and in furthering Long Drive---but for whom and why ??  And where has he vanished too now --so it seems?? Last I heard a few weeks back here on incepta--was he was promoting powerboat racing!

Hey Toddo,

He's definately not referring to the Iceman guy.... just a guy with a connection to a farmers field near Red Deer AB.

Would love to see an event in Western Canada.

I'll start a thread to see what type of numbers we'd be looking at, not sure we'd get enough guys.  It'll be in the independant thread section.

Toddo,

I do know the Roger that you are talking about, Roger Vlooswyk, whose sister I am sure you all know...

i was talking about the Roger that hosted the Regionals for Western Canada last year with Brett....i apologize for the confusion... I just cannot remember his last name...starts with a "G" I think....

...it would be great to have an event anywhere in Western Canada.....if not I will see you in Quebec

ROGER VLOOSWYK?Huh?? nevwer met or crossed his path in LD or elsewhere------ROGER JAY was the fella who used to hold n host the ICEMAN series and thats who i was reffering to.

Lisa Vlooswyk is a great WESTERN HITTER competior and lady------I dont think she and ROGER JAY are related ---but nothin is outta the question im sure either!   Lol!

I hope that with all the history of Events, Competitors, Past and Current RWLDC Champs being Canadian, vetran hitters ect ect that whast going on currently with LD in Canada is onlya  TEMPORARY situation and by 2010 we are back on track with the LDA and ART's thinking---holding our own locals and districts again on CANADIAN SOIL.  We gotts stick and band together if we realy want that to happen ---its up to US and not the U.S.!!!!
