i think if gsp can survive 3 rounds he will grind down penn with gnp, but thats a big if, anyone watch penn vs machida, the size difference made very little difference, in the other fight i think machida will be able to avoid silva's early craziness, i think machida will pick him apart, i can't wait for this one

I don't care who wins, its entertaining and thats all i watch for. I will state this though, and I will take some flack for it.......

I do not agree with how judges award points. If a guy is sorta busy on top, but not in a gnp position, he is winning the fight because he is in control. I would like to see less emphasis on who is in control, but who is the agressor, activity level, and things like that. I say that because I am not a wrestler, i was a striker through and through. I won a lot, but the times i got beat were because of judging that i thought was unfair.

My little cousin is now involved in the sport. He is being trained by Jason McDonald. Good local talent. Good teacher as well, although lets forget about his latest loss. He looked like he was trying to hug the poor bastard instead of hit him or take him down when he ate that shot to the hairline.

Support your MMA fighters boys!!

Also, I hope they have a tribute to Helio Gracie (the creator of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu) at the UFC.  He died yesterday.  I'm glad I got to meet him (I met him in Tulsa the day of UFC 4).

Helio's son Rorion started the UFC to showcase GJJ, and he's also the reason my training dummy (Bubba) became so popular.

Helio was 95 years old.  RIP

Moshida was the only goof fight although he was fighting some chump...that might have the been the worst display of UFC ever!!!!!!    Crazy Clay Guido.....was more entertaining...the other guy trying to hit him behind all that hair...couldnt square him up caus ehe couldnt see his face...lol

GSP's win is not without controversy.  Many are saying his trainer put vaseline all over Georges' neck, shoulders and back.  I need to watch it again to see.

If you love to read about this stuff, MMA.TV is the place to be.  There are a lot of forums there.  The Underground forum is all about MMA, and the Otherground is like our OFF TOPIC forum.  It's an interesting place.

thiago silva is no chump, i really enjoyed the jones bonner fight, jones always tries crazy strikes, i hope the winner of the rampage/jardine fights machida to decide who challenges evans, i am already looking forward to alves/gsp, going to be sick...

I watched it again, and I don't think it's a big deal.  But, it's hard to see how much grease was applied.

It's a big deal on the Underground Forum, though.  I would bet a lot of the people complaining are B.J. Penn fans.

Way to go, GSP.  That was quite a beatdown.
