Kevin craggs is meant to be a good coach, not cheap mind, if you google him you can find his details.

he was the guy at scottish golf show doing the driving demo in the middle of the arena

I've never heard of any pros round here specializing in LD coaching.

Alan Tait springs to mind, He was at Westerwood but he's moved to Loch Lomond The Carrick which would be a
bit of a drive for you. Whether he knows much about LD swing mechanics ?

What club do you play out of?  Bellshill ?

extreme-firepower, i'm a member of dullatur gc in cumbernauld, do you live near these places ie bellshill cumbernauld or hamilton? i often go to the driving range in hamilton it would be good to get some tips as the pros at the range (whom i get on well with) keep slagging me about longdriving and constantly encourage me to give it up!!!

Especially Big Ian ?

I play out at Mount Ellen. Drop me a P.M... there's some Cobra demo days
coming up in E Kilbride and at Cawder soon, Launch Monitor will be there
but probably no low lofted LD heads.

Then there's the Scotland event at Palace Rigg in August

extreme-firepower how did you know that big ian gives maximum discouragement on my longdriving??
has he also discouraged you? waw!
please excuse my ignorance but what does p.m. mean?
i was at the cobra demo day at the strathclyde driving range and managed to attain 98 mph on the launch monitor with the cobra L4V driver...i've had and been through a few drivers...ping rapture, cobra LD, callaway X and FT-i and bang-o-matic with ust V2 48 inch shaft..which was like weilding a claymore! 46 inch is best for me! they where all around 9.5-10.5 but my allround favourite which i currently have is the cleveland hi-bore xls 10.5 loft with aldila DVS mid launch reg flex shaft..i had the aldila VS-PROTO shaft but found it difficult to load my launch angles where erractic.
does a LD head need to be low lofted?
i cannot manage anything lower than a 9 deg...in fact i'm contemplating conducting an experiment by marrying my aldila low to mid launch VS-PROTO shaft to a ping G-10 13 deg head..the proto shaft sent the ball fairly low so i figured that if i join it to a higher lofted head then it should give a mid launch.
what and when is this scotland event at palace rigg..i hope its not on a saturday as i work on a sat!!
i like big ian but he has sufficiently put me off longdriving so i would like to simply attain the longest and straightest possible driving for myself and i feel that a longdriver would need to look at my weeknesses to be able to help me so extremeld has kindly offered to give help.
