Andreas Persson...Geek Staffer using a DCT 6* with a (what else) HOF (the white shaft) WINS!!

The Top 20 Euro Pro LDers were at Janos Uotila Event, better known as the Craze Finn, put on one Hell of an Event I am told as these Euro Pros really look forward to his event!

The Final 8 were:

Not the correct order

Adam Stacey
Joe Miller
Daniel Konyk
Marcus Edblad
Mikael Lindblom
Phil Naylor
and of course, Geek Staffers

Patrik Andersson and the eventual WINNER

ANDREAS PERSSON

His first Big WIN and first time beating these incredible Euro Pro LDers!

Good job Andreas..Another Geek Staffer takes home the Biscuits and Gravy...Oh, Sorry..The Swedish Pancakes and Lingonberry Butter!

Pancakes advertising hype! Let's see a proper report please with (1) Chronological results, (2) Distances, (3) Weather and grid conditions, (4) Details of the battle. We can switch on the tv to see ads.   Cry

Yep, further congratulations to Andreas. He conrolled his spin very well in some of the trickiest and most variable wind conditions I've experienced in LD. More information will be posted about the event on http://www.longdrivers.eu/ which has just gone LIVE.

Thanks Vinny, although I take little credit - Jules and Karl did most of the work on that.  Things are starting to move now with ELD so keep an eye of the site for developments.

There WAS 5 qualification spots but there's a big dispute going on at the moment. Cannot think why but I'm sure it will be resolved very soon! Haha

"A BIG dispute?" Did the rules get changed again two hours into the tournament? If so, that's tough. At least though everyone knew about that event and were presumably allowed six balls (not four) a round off a dry surface? Can't blame me this time.

Despite 5 spots for the European Final being advertised for the Finland competition it now appears that none of these spots are going to be honoured    Huh?

And, there was no advertised spot advertised for the Sweden comp. for Seniors. Suddenly one senior is going through!

There is clearly a new rule evolving:

If there are spots advertised then sure as hell you are not having them. Conversely, if there are no spots advertised then.......yes, you've guessed.

I never did watch the Goon Show. Now, like others, I'm being forced to.
