Just wanted to thank everyone who volunteered and competed today.  Without you events like these would not be possible.  Thanks to Scott at Championshep golf for helping out with demos and equipment questions and also to the staff at Devils Den Driving Range for their support and use of facilities.  We had a good turnout of 52 trys at the Central local and 20 at the Eastern local.  The grid had a bit of an uphill on both sides of the grid at approx 360 yards.  If you flew the hill or hit down the middle of the grid the balls were running.  Had a slight tail wind in the morning, swirling in the afternoon and then back to a tail wind later in the day.  Temp was approx 20*C.  Congrats to those of you who have made it on to districts!!  Here are the results...

Central Local:

Open
Ryan Gregnol   408
Winston Ahoy  386
Matt Bertrand  375
Brock Brown    374
Dany Revelle   372

Senior
James DeCaire   399
Kenton Palamar  354

Super Senior
Gary Dix   314

Grand Champion
Gary Nickerson  290

Women
Debbie Peever   214

Eastern Local:

Open
Aaron Assinewalt   383
Ryan Gregnol        373
Todd Herold          355

Senior
James DeCaire   365

Super Senior
Gary Dix   316

Women
Debbie Peever   200

Congrats again to all the Participants that made it through.  A good time was had by all and the weather held up for the duration of the event.  Hope to see a few of you at the EDC Sunday back on the Devils Den grid!!

It was a well run event, great job Hawk and everyone else involved.  If I found it fun while choking my guts out in my first event, I am sure everyone else had a blast.  Speaking of blasts - Ryan's 408 was legit!

Funniest part of my day----sold two of my drivers to two NEW KIDS and they both go out n win the events for ONTARIO and QUEBEC using stuff they just got outta my bag that day at the range.   Hmmmmmmm funny or severely depressing --it was great too see some new faces n names pound the ball & comming up in the sport. (even if its with my equipment!----well theirs now--had to sell em both after the way they hit em!)

Congrats to ya both RYAN G  &   AARON A ----and cya both soon as well. Let me know if ya need some more drivers before the REGIONALS!!!
