Poll results on shaft length

I'm still suprised that the majority of LD'ers are against the LDA conforming to USGA specifications when it comes to shaft length. Personally I think it would be interesting to see how the Top LDers #'s would compare to the likes of Tiger, Ernie and the rest of the PGA when the playing field is level. It would also open the doors to a host of shaft companies that don't produce long drive shafts (50"+). The more competive the market the better the price for the consumer. I know distance #'s would suffer but maybe taking one step back would propel the sport two steps forward. Just a thought.
