Removing Epoxy from a previously-enjoyed shaft

Does anyone have advice on how i should remove built up epoxy from the inside the tip of a shaft that was pulled from head?

Epoxy in shafts

Mike take a 1/8 inch drill bit and drill it very slow. There should not be more than 1/2 of epoxy in the tip. If you do not remove the epoxy when you glue the shaft in the new head it will want to push back out.
