Dempsey Drives for Win at Iceman Competition  Nov. 30, 2006
 
SUNLAND, Calif. ? Respected custom clubfitter and owner of Horsepower Golf, Patrick Dempsey frosted the long drive competition with a 397-yard blast and won first place in the senior division at the 2006 Iceman International Competition held in Tobago, Trinidad. Dempsey scored the record-setting drive playing Cobra/2x Speed driver (7.5? loft) along with a Golfsmith Yellow Hornet proto (7?) custom fit with a Proforce V2 LD graphite shaft.

Hey all,

I don't want to start up the whole "Iceman Sucks" thing, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of any of the events.  I am always looking for some competition so I checked out the Iceman website several times over the past few months. Well, I could never find any information about the events.  I am also a regular on this site and never heard anything about any of the events.  Now to hear the results, I am quite surprised.

Thoughts?
