Hey,

Just wondering if the ALDA, LDGA, or Players Tour is planning on running anything in the near future. I know alot of people that would gladly travel to nicer weather to compete in an event. There would be no clashing of events because nothing is planned. If all 3 of you decide to have an event in the same weekend longdrive is doomed. Anyways you could take a poll of how many competitors would sign up and then decide what to do! Just trying to provoke some thought!

I was in Scottsdale last year for the FBR.  That would be a fabulous venue for an LD.  The FBR fans would be perfect for introducing to LD, they are fun, boisterous.  The weather is typically great, dry and low humidity.

The trick would be to somehow tie the PGA to the LD event, like say having Bubba Watson or JB Holmes square off against the LD guys.  Basically, like Daly did in '04.  Problem is that there's probably little incentive for them to partake in something like that.
