Guys and Gals Jennifier Whitmore at the Riverside Golf Academy has asked me about putting together an event prior to worlds.
A tune up if you will for worlds or anyone that would like to compete. So she has asked if I could help her to get this event going. What we are looking at is an event the first full weekend in October. Event to be held on October 7th at at: Riverside Golf Academy
3702 White River Pkwy. W. Drive
                               Indianapolis, IN 46222

Here's what we have come up with.

36 Open spots
24 Senior spots
12 Ladies spots
12 Super Seniors spots

Cost-$150 for Open and Seniors. $100 for Ladies and Super Seniors.
What is included with your entry is a Meal:Hamburger or Hotdog, Two Sides and a Desert. 5 Range Tokens and a spot in the event.

5 Rounds and the Finals for each division based on a full field. Guys/Gals this is a last minute event so we have decided to keep the entry fee low.  We are hoping to put on an event in the spring if all goes well in which we could have a pro-am and a bigger purse and some time to look for sponsors as well.

FYI~For those that have been to Indy before she is hoping that the Hill maybe removed by the time of this event. She is hoping thios week they will be in and have it done.

Here are the Pay outs bsaed on FULL fields (#)

Open (36)           Seniors (24)            Ladies (12)    SuperSeniors (12)
1)$1600             1)$1000                   1)$450           1)$450
2)$1125             2)$750                     2)$300           2)$300
3)$675               3)$450                     3)$150           3)$150
4)$450               4)$350
5)$375               5)$250
6)$275               6)$200

We will be able to take credit cards or checks. To secure your spot you will have to be paid in full as we will be paying onsite the winners. So all money will need to be in prior to the event.

Like I said this is a last minute idea and a way to get on the tee prior to Worlds or just to  hit.

I hope we can fill all fields and make this event grow. As Jennifier and I are very excited about hosting this event.

You can also call me to secure your spot or email me.

If there is not enough interest we will have to hold off on the event so please give me your feed back as well.I will keep everyone posted to paid entries as well if this a go so that we can fill the field.

Thanks to everyone and I hope to see you in Indy!

Guys/Gals Just got off the phone with Jennifer. They start to remove the "Hill" today. They will also be building a new tee box. The new tee box will not be ready this year but will be for next season.  This will make the grid one of the best around I believe.

Jennifer great job on getting that done. Looking forward to the event.

Glen,
Any heads up on what time the event will start for open, seniors, etc?
I know you're still getting entries, so maybe just an overall registration time.
And, is the super senior division happening, or do I have to compete against all those young guys?....LOL

Thanks Steve. Due to the numbers you will be hitting the young guys and a few that aren't. Start time for the Seniors will be 10:30 am followed by the open. We are looking at 10 so far in the seniors and 14 in the open.

Guys we are going still take entries if you are interrested at this time to help expand the field if at all possible.

Hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to get on the tee and hit.

Thanks again to Jennifer for all her help as well.
