Will the winner of this event get a free buy in into the east coast classic? Or is this event simply developmental and you get nothing for it?

As it stands now, it's just a cash payout. The 2 events aren't really connected as the Skirmish is an amateur event and the East Coast Classic is an open Pro Event. All the payouts and places paid will be based on the turnout.

Donnie, its a developmental event. Just like Metter, only cash instead of a paid spot. amatuer is listed bc its not going to include anyone in the top 150-200 it so. There is not a bigger event the day following this one. It's a stand alone APGDT event where you have a chance to win money.

Perhaps the correct term would be Developmental Event. This is a part of the American Power Golf Developmental Tour. We simply mean it's not an event for the accomplished Long Driver who is ranked high in the unofficial rankings. The goal of the developmental tour is basically a farm system to allow Long Drivers to get experience and hopefully move on to the bigger events and to compete for the big purses. It's a scale system...instead of having to pay $600 entry fees and competing for $8,000-$10,000, they put up $150-$200 and compete for a pot based on the money paid in...example $1,000 first place, etc. Hope that helps.

Can the LD guys join forces and make a team or are you trying to put and LD'er on each team?
