showed up late  and learned a valuable lesson ...BRING EXTRA GLOVES!!!!
THEY were so wet my one hand kept pulling off the grip!
ON my 3rd swing I sent my club 75 80 yards out.
IT was probably my worst time out ever but i wasnt nervous I just couldnt hold on to the club!
I was a little pissed but ya know nexed time...

donster, how was the event run? Was it run as good as the LDA events last year. Other than the rain, how did you make out and will you be going to Alliston?

THERE WAS NO GRID!! there was no MEASUREMENT we used the house balls  and the grid was not cleared of balls hit by the rest of the range.
I DONT want to say anything bad but take it from there
THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH  THE OLD PRO THEY TOO WERE BAFFLED BY THIS...

DONT GET ME WRONG! im not blaming iceman or anybody Iwill still go out and pay my money caus if we stop coming out there will be nothing to come out to.
BUT they have to be more organized than they are.
IN order fore us to be looked upon as a sport our //XXX// has to be tight!
rarely do i see any advertising on up and comming events at any golf shops or driving ranges.
IF the L.D.A or ICE MAN need help at local qualifiers they should post something im sure there are people willing to help and get involved.          WE SHOULD ALL PULL TOGETHER AND HOLD A INCEPTA LONG DRIVE CHALLENGE           I WOULD MAKE THE TROPHIES

Donster,
I would be willing to put my time in to help with just such an event.  Set it up man!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, I'm sure the ICE MAN could be much more organized, there are at least a handfull of local LD'rs who I'm sure would help with events if they were marketed and promoted properly.
