Just wanted to update everyone again on the event. I have moved the Falls City Event to Grand Island, NE. The course is great, 18 holes. Justin Davenport has done an outstanding job promoting the sport in GI. He gets crowds to show up to watch local qualifying, plus TV, Radio and Newspaper coverage.

THe event will be run pretty much the same, with the same entry fee $300, Friday a social and probably the alternate shot event for LD guys. It was a ton of fun last year. Saturday will be a Pro-Am in the morning and we are thinking about running a Super Q afterwards. With something else in the evening. The Main event will be on Sunday Morning. Last year we DOUBLED THE PURSE OVER THE ENTRY FEES.

Grand Island has an airport, Omaha isn't too far either. We are working on Hotels.

More info to come. Just wanted to get the DATES out there. JUNE 1-3, 2012.

Anyone interested?Huh?

Dang!  I'll be out of the country.  Really bummed to miss this event.

For those thinking about it, I highly recommend giving it a try.  It's true, Davenport has a knack for organizing LD events.  He'll do a great job hosting it.

Thanks Brian. This event should be a great event. We need to support from as many of you that we can get.  Mike Skeen & myself are working hard & confident in our potential local sponsors with the financial backing that we will generate for this weekend.  We plan to marry this with a local charity which will be a tremendous benefit as well. Grand Island is the best place in Nebraska  weve gained numerous bars rest hotels etc in the pat few years. Also that weekend Terrel Owens will be in town playing against our hometown indoor arena football team.  We will keep you posted as things progress. Thanks for your support & we look forward to seeing you there.

I just got a call from Gringo, he can't wait to come back. Guys, this event is about having fun, the "brotherhood" and meeting new people. We charge a small entry fee to help everyone be able to afford this great weekend. Back in the Old Days, Metter was a great place to go, even if you didn't win a dime, because it was about being with friends and having fun. Gary did an amazing job with Metter and I want this event to be one that people want to come to as well.

We need to start getting names of guys coming. We will have an entry fee deadline this year also.
