Congratulations to everyone who made it through to the finals in Dublin. Phil I see you are the new world record holder for the fastest par 5 - well done.

What were the conditions like in Scotland and how did everyone get on with the new 50" clubs?

Regards

Thanks AJ, for once we had brilliant hot & sunny weather in Scotland, although we were hitting into a stiff sea breeze which kept the distances down. Don't think anyone had any problem at all with the new 50 inch limit.

It was a great idea to tie longdrive in with the world record golf event, it mean't that we got more spectators than ever before, and longdrivers managed to set 3 new world records later in the day.

Looking forward to seeing you at the RE/MAX English Championship on 22nd July.

The Power

Going by the excellent write up on the LDE site, the Scottish qualifier sounds like it was an entertaining and successful event - good news indeed.

I can't wait to meet up with you and everyone else at Hanbury on the 22nd July. Let's hope the weather is kind to us(I'm typing this while an amazing thunderstorm is circling around).

Regards

AJ
