How To Tell If a Head Is Cracked?

Hey Guys,
Apart from the obvious "If you're bleeding, it's probably cracked" I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how you can tell if a head is cracked, aside from hitting it. Thanks guys!

Hold it under water. If you see bubbles, it is cracked.

Great idea! never thought of that. I bet if you heat it up a little first that would help. As long as it does not make the water boil.
