On the LDA site, they have a new event, the Heartland Shootout listed for 6/30/12...does anyone know about this event and where it will be held, and also doesn't that conflict with the Sweden events? Just wandering if anyone knows about this tournament.

It could be the Decatur, IL event. I think that's what Sam calls his event. Just a guess though.

Are the dates for your event set in stone, Sam, or are they subject to change considering the Sweden events? Just curious, trying to setup a timeline for all the events so I can attend, but thank you for holding your event and making it a part of the LDA tour stops.

Sorry guy's but the golf course can't have the tour event on the 22nd. There will be a pro-am on Friday June 29, Tour event on Saturday 30, and local qualifier on July 1st.
I need 15-20 volunteers for the Pro-Am.

Dang that sucks I was really looking forward to going back to IL for the first time since moving to Fl in 1990. I have a ton of family still there that would have loved to come watch but I can't turn down Sweden. Hopefully next year dates will work out better.

That sucks for everybody. You will have a hard time getting a good field since themajority of the top lders will come to sweden.

There are 2 tournaments in Sweden. Söderby International 29th June to 1st July. Purse around 20-25k$ AldilaWPGMC 5th-8th of July, purse around 60k$. Most guys attending the first will also attend the second. Check those threads on incepta and/or www.wpgmc.comCost of travelling you have to ask around or google, I live within 30min from both venues so not alot  US, Canadiens and South Africans, not so close... |
