OK, OK...I know this question may be somewhat questionable in a sense and some may not want to answer as they do not want to possibly offend a good friend or fellow LDer and I most probably shouldn't post this question...but, why the heck not:
Best LD swing that works
Let me first state that there are some marvelous swings out there..just exceptional. Nevertheless, my pic is:
JASON ZUBACK
Over the years his swing has changed ZERO for the most part. I have never seen anyone get so much out of their swing....leaves nothing in the bag. He has trained himself to get every portion of his body to add something to help his particular swing get MAX Power. Injuries as we get older, especially in this sport as in others, really hinders some over the long haul. But, again, 5 World Titles and many Top 8 finishes...............
Dang it...too bad that time is what gets all the greats...and all of us, eventually. The mind says YES and the body says...MAYBE!
So name your fav swing out there...ONE NAME ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You cannot name yourself...just one that you admire that works! I know naming only one is hard BUT.................let it be written....let it be done! (sorry for that quote...watched the 10 Commandments last night...lol)

Great question Steve and tough to give just one name!
However going down the route of a swing that his been built to hit the ball as far as possible, as opposed to a more powerful traditional swing and sticking with my fellow Europeans I have to name Andreas Perrson, it all starts very orthodx and then just after impact is a very unique move that has propelled Andreas towards the top of our sport.

To see the best swing in long drive, go to this mans channel and subscribe. Simply the best videos on the net. Learn David Mobley's swing and get to work on replicating it. Watch how long Mob holds the angle of the left arm and the shaft on the down swing. Rick Malm is a swing engineer and has tons of amazing videos. http://www.youtube.com/user/rickmalm#p/a/u/1/h2yKcPgVjEk

Doc...I did that so most would not necessarily mention friends. Just one outstanding i.e. your favorite particular LD swing that truly works.

I have heard that that is an optical effect of how video data is processed. It has something to do with the idea that it is processes from the top down or the bottom up I forgot which. Basically the speed at that point is so fast it creates this illusion. If you freeze it between 5 and 6 seconds in where the shaft is basically parallel to the ground and look closely at the club head it looks distorted and out of shape. First time I saw that on my own video I was completely baffled.

I'm going to go with JZ. Went to a Golf Expo and didn't know jack$#!+ about golf (still don't) and watched him blasting balls in the warm up long drive area and then watched his demo on stage. 5 rings don't lie, his presentation was solid with factual info about training. He is probably the shortest guy to win the open div. by swinging like he is a 6' guy. Also saw Brain P and Bobby W do there demo too, great info. But watching JZ got me interested in try to learn how to do this. Imagine a 40 year old guy trying to learn to do what he is doing. Sounds ludicrous doesn't it? Nobody pointed that out back then to me. Thanks JZ and Neil S. too!

Bobby Wilson. A fluid, repetitive, explosive swing that fills up the grid 80 percent of the time. I think Mobley is just behind him, both effortless, both sound.

First time I saw that on my own video I was completely baffled. Correct. In videos/stills like this even the clubhead is skewed I'd say that the swing of Jimmy Olsson (swe) is the perfect combo of sound swing technique (he's in the swe national team), timing and power!
