Ok my fellow European hard hitters! Time to start planning next year's Söderby event and the purpose of this post is to see who is plannning on coming over. I am probably gonna stick to 48 man field and wanna give all the Europeans a chance to show their interest/register before the rest of the world.
Quick facts will look like this:
29th of June PRO/AM (friday) 30th of June ladies + seniors (saturday) 1st of July OPEN (sunday)
Prize money: $20.000 (12 guys get paid)
Entry fee: $300 (2000kr)
NO QUALIFICATION.
Let me know if you want in so I know about how many spots I have for the rest of the world.
Thanks.
Kari.

So far: Andreas Persson Johan Muller Justin Schäffer Ceejay Hellström Lars Göransson Johan Tumba Jimmy Olsson Alexander Boltenstern Johan Hallenby Kari Hyökki Jörgen Tränk Tom Hollingworth Dan Konyk John McSloy Morgan Sären Iiro Savinko "International" hitters confirmed: Houston Hair Jeff Crittenden Michael Dale Ryan Louw Maurice Allen Ben Tuaone Seniors: Tony Nilsson Johan Tumba Joakim Boltenstern Göran Hellström Ivan Sanders Micke Genberg Patrick Krutov Michael Dale Everyone pays the entry fee on site, so if you can't make it for some reason no worries. I am sure there will be hitters we can fill the spots with. I just want this list to see who plans on coming and who doesn't.

Not sure how everybody that runs events in the states or around the world do it, but I think that you should be allowed to compete the year you turn 45 or 50 or whatever. Just ask Vince Howell or Tony Nilsson. I think Vince actually turned 47 before he was allowed into Worlds because of his birthday and changing of dates. I think he celebrates very late October, 1st year eligible he turned 45 a few days late. Next year they changed dates to November and he actually turned 47 before the event. At Orresta it will be like regular golf, the year you turn 45 or 50 if we run that division. Not giving you a hard time Kari , just trying to look out for the poor sods that have a late birthday and maybe have a discussion that the rest of the LD world will follow suit on. What do you all think?

What do you all think? Lets set the rules right now - what APG's decision on this? If it's enough that you turn 45 during the year (even though you might be 44 at the time of the event) and that is the ruling then I will go with that.
