Does anyone know when dates of LDA events come out? On the website you only have the mile high and Keystone from last year. I figure early spring the locals will start flowing in. And I stumble across things in san diego or other events but cant seem to find anything about future ones. I am just trying to plan my year out travel wise (vacations and stuff ect) any in-site on this. How many event a year? How much notice? Theres a few in the events section but seems like I find more results from 2011 than advertising from the event? I'm new to this and confused on how to find events LDA to local stuff. Pat

All LDA events will eventually be posted on the LDA site. There is always plenty of notice on when where when signup starts and when it ends.

If I recall there were 6 LDA events with a money to be won and 1 where the winners got into the world finals and several non LDA events. Don't know the number on the non LDA events.

The first LDA events are in March or April. The locals and regional schedules will be posted around that time as well.

Someone else may chime in if I am wrong or missing info.

Last year, The Diamond in the Desert Classic in Mesquite was in March, The Alligator Alley Shootout in Florida was late April, Tennessee was in June, Keystone in Pennsylvania was in August and the Mile High in Denver was September. There are various independent events throughout the year and they get listed in the Independent event forum as well as this one. Most of those will give you a month or two notice. Maybe some of those that organize them will join the conversation and give you better idea of when they will try to hold those.

We are looking at a April date for the Master's of Longdrive ProAm to be held in Atlanta. We hope to have a date in the next few weeks.

Watch for the Mile High Shootout to be held in September again.

I think it would be cool if the LDA had a Tour Championship at the Worlds Grid!! You could have it the Friday before the Last Chance Qualifier. Maybe have a points system and bring in the top 40 guys for a Tour Championship!!

I would like to do another event in Northern Utah.  There is already an event in St. George in June.  I have a course that wll do it on their range and it tops out at around 420.  I would like to speak to someone with experience holding an event to get an idea of all things that I might not be thinking of so the event would be a success.  If anyone has information please contact me.
