I can't wait to attend again. Every Long Driver who can attend should. This is a great event and an incredible experience.  I look forward to hearing more details.

I will be running my 3rd Söderby event the weekend before, 29-30th of June. Look at it as a pretty tough warm up competition before the big one those boys are running Wink.

Andreas, Tony, Marcus and Lars,

We are once again looking forward to the event.  We are planning on a few extras this year that will only add even more value to this already spectacular event.  You guys really know how to have an event delivering everything promised and then some.  I would highly recommend that those wanting to enjoy a beautiful country, awesome people and a well ran event to start saving now.

For those that can possible attend the event Kari is hosting on top of the 2nd Annual Aldila World Powergolf Matchplay Championship July 5-8th, 2012  why not make this a vacation you will have 6 days between events to see the sights and enjoy want Sweden has to offer.  I can guarantee you this you will either want to move there or make it your yearly vacation!!!  The country and people are “Awesome”…  To attend both events would cost you approx $4300.00 per person (competitors only a little less if sharing a room) including flight, room, food, entries and car.  I’m looking forward to returning and seeing my Sweden Family!!!

By the way after reviewing the dates I will probably run the Söderby event 30th of June (saturday proam) and then the main event 1st of July (sunday). That way it is closer to to the Orresta event and the costs for the international hitters should come down a bit.

Kari - Please keep me posted on dates of your event.  I'm in the process of working out the details and expense to bring the Team to both.  Will you also be having a Seniors and Womens Division?  I know the Aldila World Powergolf Matchplay Championship will have them.  You should have my email address if not PM me here with your event details.

Thanks,
Brenda

It was my first event at the Euro's in September and it can all be a little intimidating Wink

Flying - Gatwick to Stockholm with Norwiegan (inc clubs) if you book early £150 return.
Car Hire - (makes life alot easier in my opinion) 3 days £100
Hotel - (not cheap in Sweden) £70 average but Hostels are alot cheaper.
Food - Not cheap either, £10 for burger meal at 'Max's' although it's one of the best burgers I've had.

I worked out what I thought it would cost, put another couple of £100 on top and didn't worry about it out there.

Just don't forget entry fees, both of these events have entry/buy-in where as the European Championships have qualifying too so you have to make sure you don't get carried away with paying for more and more qualifying sets.

Hope this helps.
