Hey Guys,
I'm looking to take a few lessons this off-season to gain some distance. As a complete newcomer to LD, I wanted to get the opinion of the experts as to where to go. I live in NY, so somewhere on the east coast or nearby would be preferable. Thanks in advance guys!

P.S. This site is incredible! It's so cool to be able to go somewhere and talk to the actual athletes. It's not like there's a basketball forum where Kobe and Lebron answer your questions!

Ken,

You may want to look up Johnny Scianno ... he's located somewhere on Long Island and I believe his business is called Model Golf, but I'm not sure.  Top notch guy who's also made it to Mesquite in the open division.  MikeB on this board knows him well ... you may want to PM him to get the details.

Hope this helps.

Jeff Crittenden...critterpowergolf.

Jeff is not only one of the top competitors, but is also a great teacher.  He has helped numerous long drivers, including myself and Patrick Hopper, along with many others.  He is located in North Carolina, near Charlotte I think.  Look him up...his name on here is Critter if you want to send him a PM.
