Great posts Kevin. Obviously there are no simple or easy solutions.  Everyone needs to think outside the box and take action on a well thought out idea. We are working on some ideas at Krank for this coming year. We'll keep everyone updated as it comes together.

No offense to anybody...but,

Who else is tired of that segway concerning that overused stale line, "outside the box"?  It's is so old and overused........if you use it.......your back inside the box!   Grin

If your creative and you use that line today.......I mean, how creative can you possibly be?

Think 'Alien'!  Think 'otherworldly'!  Think 'over the top'!  Think 'Dylanesk'!  But, don't think 'outside the box' (cause your deeper in the box when you say it...and you'll never get out!)!

No offense taken here Senor Geek!  I have some 'over the top' ideas and sounds like some other enthusiastic and passionate people here do as well!

I don't know Steve, thinking outside the box has worked pretty good for Krank over the past 15 months.  I think we will stick with it.

Someone please explain to me WHAT we need to think "out of the box" about. I'm just waiting for the next Cabo event. Anyone know the date of the next world changing event?

Sorry can't help myself from making a pathetic worthless joke of a post.

The sad thing is the Cabo event is the biggest joke of LD but yet it STILL payed out more than a LDA tour event did

and to be honest Cabo is my favorite event I have been to in my 3 years of being in this sport. I guess if I actually placed in the money and didn't get paid I might feel a little different but I know Bullard still had a good  time and has some great memories from Cabo. I do know the best stories I have ever heard from a long drive event have come from Cabo!!

Management speak does my head in, personal most hated is "Blue sky thinking"  -= YES YOU MEAN GOOD IDEAS??

Maybe they are outside the box, but like Russian dolls there is a bigger box which they are not yet outside and this is wrapped in plastic in side the shopping bag??

Maybe OUTSIDE THE BAG is where the original thinkers are and those talking about the box are just short sighted  OR MAYBE i should just drink less coffe ;De

OUCHHHHHH....Can we just forget Cabo....I can only remember going horseback riding down the beach with Shook....I remember looking at Shook in the pool of Bloody Mary's we were swimming in and saying I bet I can beat you to the horses...then seeing Shook say how can I get mine to run as fast as yours, I said kick your legs together as hard as you can, he did.....he immediately fell back with his head bouncing off the horses back legs....IM CRYING LAUGHING just thinking of that moment....

I promise....we will build a fire at Shank's and I will tell the whole story....its finally time for Story time.....

Or the Cabo Cabbie who had a bottle of Cazadores under his van seat. The look on The Bulls face when Sheriff Murkerson advised him to not drink the Cabo Cabbie Cazodores, was PRICELESS!!
and proceeded to down the yummy tequila.
I think we had 12 jam packed in the Astro Van. Passing the tequila bottle from front (Bull) to back (don't remember). Lol
That was the same night Farley disappeared from Squid Row I believe? What a great time I had in Cabo.

Joe Miller is hands down the best performer in the sport, he was very unlucky at the world champs and statistically struck the best balls consistently. He will no doubt be back next year and I cant wait to see him again !

I respectfully disagree, but I do think he is top 3 and possibly no.1 with respect to pure power.

I've been reading thru all this posts as a complete outsider... wasn't at worlds this year and haven't been since '03 but am still a competitor... and I for one would love to try to elliminate as many "honest mistakes" as possible...

THAT'S ALL RYAN IS TRYING TO ADDRESS HERE!!!!!!

He's not taking shots at anyone, he's not accusing anyone of cheating....

All he's trying to address is to elliminate any confusion to try and keep this sport as fair as possible....

Could a mistake have been made? yes it's possible.
Could that mistake have even been known by the person who made it? No, they could not know they made a mistake (either from the point of view from the stands or out in the grid)
That's what an honest mistake is guys... a mistake that was made with no knowledge that it has been made!

And whether one was made or not, there will still be some made in the future and that is basically the point here...

All Ryan is trying to say is "how do we find a way to prevent as many of these honest mistakes that we can?"

End of story
