Ok guys, this will be the last event before worlds at Orresta. The preliminary date is Sunday October 16th. Let me know what you think ASAP.
So not the 23rd, the only other date that would suit is the 15th.

Anyone is welcome, if Sandra or any ladies wants to compete, please come. We´ll make something work.

This is more about getting ready but I think 500SEK is fine. We´ll do double-elimination. If everybody is ok with it, we can do 2 competitions to get more practice. So 250SEK goes to each competition, we´ll see how many will get paid depending on players. If More then 10 comes, it will be ranked as a European ranking event.

We have a few balls left, should be enough but be prepared that we all may have to fork in a little. Anyone outside Sweden are off course welcome, contact me if you are interested.

These players are some that are travelling so I put your names up, confirm and I´ll remove the questionmark. As I said, anyone is welcome.

Exactly, we need the practice as close as possible to worlds. Last year it started to snow before October ended Tongue

But I´ll change to sunday the 16th instead.

Oh Man....that is FUNNY!!!!!  I am so use to S. Ca. weather you tend to look at things from that weather perspective...still laughing!

And the funny part is...every time I talk to Peter A. or Patrik Andersson (at that time of the year)....they are buried under snow!!!

No worries about qualification, this is just a small player event so, show up, pay and hit!

So we are 9 at the moment. Sandra may come as well but there won´t be ladies there I´m guessing, so she just have to compete with us. Just need to work out some formula that will work in that case. Any thoughts?

We have to give it some thought as it is practice  but since she hit 280ish at the Euro champs and the boys 320-330ish she could get 40m. If she swings at 110 and we at 130, the 20mph difference would equate to something like 40-45m. Just a thought. And if she beats us we take away the handicap the 2nd competition Grin

Not saying it is perfect but she´s trying to win in Mesquite so it would be good for her. And besides, we could be the only ones to ever have beaten her then Wink Grin
Or never hear the end of it if we lose Grin Cool

Or let everybody hit 6 balls and take Sandras average minus all others average and take that as the handicap.

AP,

You are right it would be great practice for Sandra and a great moral boost if she can mix it with the men.  I think, as you suggested, the fairest way of finding a 'handicap' would be for everyone to hit a set of 6 and take the avarage from all the mens and the average from Sandra's set, knock of 5m  Wink and there's your handicap.

You have to remember this is practice for the worlds, how cool would it be for Europe to come home with multiple titles this year Shocked So to include Sandra is a great idea and I hope you do and if she beats you I'm sure it will be with a smile (and not too many digs in the bar afterwards!).

I wish you all the very best of luck at Worlds, it was great to meet most of you at the Europeans a fortnight ago and I'll see you again next year.

COME ON EUROPE! Grin
