Hello All, results from the French Championships that took place this week-end :

Temperature around 20°C, wind 35km/h that changed from straight head wind to left to right head wind.
Grid was very narrow (35 to 38m) and quite wet.


Final results (Double elimination Format) :

Winner - Philippe Jost - KRANK / Aldila (best ball at 291,1m)
Runner up - Ronan Le Gac - Alpha / N-Forcer (bb at 286,3m)

3rd place - Eric Dupire - Alpha / Harrison (bb at 266,6m)
4th place - Jonathan Maurice - SMT / Harrison (bb at 256,3m)

5th - Paul Rouquette - BANG / UST (bb at 254,2m)
6th - Eric Houballah - Adams / Sk Fiber (bb at 280,4m)


After the Championship there was also a match between Long Drivers de France and Long Drivers of Holland. Wind picked up even a bit more...

Singles (3pts / match) :
Daan Paas (243,4) vs Ronan Le Gac (258,6)
Martin Bruijns (291,8) vs Philippe Jost (275,9)
Justin Schâffer (OB) vs Eric Houballah (OB)
Johan Muller (255,6) vs Yvan Tchemenian (OB)

7,5 - 4,5 for Holland after singles

Doubles (2pts / match)
addition of best balls from each players
Johan Muller & Justin Schäffer (0 + 291,4) vs Philippe Jost & Ronan Le Gac (274,9 + 263,2)

Philippe has just forgot to mention that Yves Tarayre (aka ice-skater)won the Senior.
His combo was Adams/SK Fiber.
2nd Didier Mamet hitting Geek FS3/Aldila Voodoo

Thanks  YP...........and glad someone is hip to the FS3, for a change, most under rated club by good players and LDers.  The carry on that puppy is.........scary! Grin
