Hello all !

The french National Championships will take place on August 28, in the french country side where we have created a Long Drive only facility.
This very special event will only be open to french players, as I think any national championship should be.

It will be a no spot, no prize money event, as we are charging only 10€ to buy into the qualifications in order to get as many people compete and to promote our sport. All the benefits from the event will go to the association Long Drivers de France, to help us promote the sport in France, and help french players travel abroad for tournaments.

The event will also be highlighted by the very first international match for us, against Team Holland, that makes us the honour to come and have a match against us just for the love of long drive, and for the glory of a title.
Teams will be :
France : Yvan Tchemenian (Captain), Eric Houballah, Ronan Le Gac and myself
Holland : Johan Muller (Captain), Justin Schäffer, Martin Bruijns, and Dan Paas.

Unfortunately though, as we don't have any sponsor to help us out, we won't be able to hold a european event this year in Paris. But be sure we will be working on it very hard for next year.

Also, and more personnaly, I won't see you anymore on tour this year, except for those who go to the worlds, where I'll try to qualify through last chance. Travelling around europe (well.. to Sweden in fact) is very expensive for us that struggle all year around with the money, and I only have money left for one trip. So it will be Mesquite.

Good luck for the Euro Champs and see you all very soon I hope.

Peace

Phil

Don't talk to me about it ! haven't seen or heard from him this year, and I'm sad he can't be a part of that...

Thanks guys ! But as a matter of fact I was so tired with hosting and winning already that the party felt short and ended up just having dinner with my girl and friends that came to support me. So no Hangover, but a great feeling this morning Cheesy

I'll post the results shortly in another topic.

See you all in Mesquite !
