Ok, due to family issues and change of location to kungsängens gc in Stockholm, 10 minuter from orresta, i am à bit late posting this...
Anyway, the 10 of september we plan to launch " the road to Vegas"
We europeans will compete for 3 open division spots into world finals at mesquite and 1 senior spot!
My partner Joakim sabel and I will announce if when and all info latest next friday.
Entry will be around 2000 skr and less for seniors. Also à ladies division will be on!
All pending sponsors etc, we will keep you posted!
I have reserved these spots allready. Our plan is to make a healthy event this year and make the event grow in coming years.
There will be exemptions for selected players and they will go into the main draw directly. This Will be based on this years perfomance and previous events. European longdrive Players commitee will be à part of Making this exemptions list. I will contact and put together such.
Thats it for now, but plan for qualifying the 9 september and finals the10th.
A PRO am Will be played the 9th for all exempt players, while others qualify.
A schedule Will be posted soon.

Nice to hear guys! Joakim sabel is having meeting today and I am trying to get in touch with some major sponsors as this is goina cost à few dolares to get all spots. But, hey we did it last year, we Will do it this year but even better! Need you guys to spread the Word, talk to every longdriver you know! We need this qualifying event in europe. Don't know if I have Said it before but, Love and longdrives! |

I really hope everything falls in place for this event and it becomes a solid annual event as we need this in Europe! I'm new to the sport and practising hard to get to a competitive level. I'm not there yet but my plan is to start competing next year and hopefully bring another title back to the UK. Not many/any events in the UK but there are some friendly LDers that have given me some solid advice, hopefully I can pay them back one day by teeing it with them on the grid! (and hopefully taking the prize ) Good luck to all the European LDers who go to qualify and especially to the ones that make it! Matt |

Hi longdrivers, We will do a modified double elimination format, with final four in matchplay. A match for third and fourth will determine who gets the final spot into the world finals  Also a rankinglist is in the makings as we speak, the following will make up the maindraw: - top 20 from European rankinglist - 5 wildcards - 7 qualifyer spots from last chance the 9 and 10 of september. The tournaments is open to all competitors around the world, but non europeans will have to go through last chance qualifyer to earn spot in maindraw ! Please note that the number of qualifyer spots may be less to accomodate the European rankinglist and sponsors invites. However, no less than 5 spots will be up for grabs.
