Friday August 12th  (9a.m. to 5 p.m.)there will be a last chance local qualifier to get in the district tournament. OPEN DIVISION August 13th(Sat.) & SENIOR DIVISION August 14th(Sun). Last year 3 of the 5 guys(Open Div.) who qualified for worlds where from Canada. So I'm inviting everyone to come down and compete for your spot in the 2011 Re/Max World Longdrive Event. As I said in a previous post, I will give everyone a 2 for 1 chance in the local on Friday. Every 16 attempts will qualify 3. until we get everyone in the tourney. I am also considering having a local on Thurday afternoon after we set up the grid but I'll need some feed back on whether anyone is interested.  Any Questions call me.

HOTELS range from 69.99 Sleep Inn to 99.99 Hampton Inn. These two are right across the street from grid, along with convenience stores, fast foods(McD's, BK, Subway etc...  & restaurants/bars all within walking distance. BTW there are no sales taxes in Montana.

To Jesse and all others attending the Mt regional I'm sure you will enjoy it it really is a first class event, the grid is excellent the location is really good and as Michael said there are reasonalble hotels and restaurants all around the grid.

Michael, I hope you lock up the cash box this year!  If you can imagine the last day of locals just as we were winding up a brutal thunderstorm comes up and knocks down all the tents, chairs, speakers etc. the cash box falls off the table. No one notices right away because we were trying to save the tents, I hear Michael go Ohh Sh*t the money,  so 4 or 5 of us go running down the grid chasing all the money collected in a mini tornado. The cash is moving faster than anyone can run so everyone is pretty concerned, so a few guys hop in the golf carts flying all around the park there trying to save what they could. In the end I think most was recovered, although I'm sure some people in the area had a nice surprise that day.
