Orresta Matchplay event 7th of May

Since there was no competition on that date we are doing a player event early May. I will confirm the date ASAP to make sure nothing else is already on that date.

We´ll do the same format as our big event, matchplay in best of 3 sets. 2 rounds of ranking. 500SEK entry fee all to prizefund, bring your own balls, Pinnacle Distance, at least 24. Me and Tony want a little piece too, depending on number of entrants, but roughly 200SEK per person to us as hosts. So around 700SEK in total.

The reason I´m writing in english is that if anyone outside Sweden wants to come we´re happy to help out a bit. If you fly from Stanstead London to Västerås you can buy tickets from 1SEK+tax from Ryanair so it could be 500SEK for a roundtrip. You can borrow clubs to save money and stay at my place if there´s not too many guys coming. So around 120-140 Euro for a competition including flights to Västerås. Could be interesting for someone close to London.

This was a fun day on the grid that will host the Aldila WPGMC later in July. Longest ball was 348m or 380,5 yards
The format was exciting, alot of hitting for all involved. There will be a few more of these during the season, maybe at Söderby or Knistad or if anyone else wish to host a LD event.

Gz AP, looks like it was a tight final

Yes it was! Alot of matches were really close. Sometimes it felt hopeless but then you get a good bounce and that´s long enough to win the set. Me and CJ both hit our longest in the last set with 5 second interwall. They couldn´t tell apart until we had stopped hitting, that´s how close it was.
