I'm getting married on June 25th of this year, and we are looking at Sandals St. Lucia as a honeymoon destination.  Have any of y'all ever been to a Sandals resort? Are they really THAT nice?

Went to St. Lucia  a few years ago.  Cool place, drive thru a rainforest to get there.
The Sandals there is nice. Only problem was high waves hitting the beach. No visibility in the water if you like snorkeling or scuba diving.
They have a golf course there that was in bad shape.  If you go and try the course, hire a caddy.  They all think they can play like Vijay.  They were great.

The Sandals in Negril, Jamaica is better. Water was like glass! Took the resort course in scuba diving and made three dives at 30, 60 and 100'.  Can not drink the day before the dive though.

They have a sunset cruise that takes you to a cliff with a bar set up 60' above the water on a rock cliff.
You swim ashore, climb up the rock stairs, have a few pops and jump off the cliff into the water below.
What a rush!!

Have fun!!

just got back from sandals grande in st lucia.....cant imagine a better place.  screw the 2 hr drive to the resort, we took a helicopter and it took 12 minutes!!  the resort with the golf course is the regency, nice, but not like the grande.......the golf course wasnt the greatest, but my caddie could play, although i did beat him!!  i havent been to any other sandals so i cant compare, but you couldnt tell me there was a nicer one out there.  the water was warm and no waves to speak of....the people were great and the food was better!!  the excursions were awesome!!
