Great hitting today from both Dan and Joe! Joe doing the hard grinding that it takes on that side of the brackets. I´ll be watching on Friday!
CJ seemed to be hitting good as well but the loser brackets are sooo much tougher!

409 Joe Miller, into Round 9. Joe and Dan 1-2 this year! Even Steve Magan must be impressed with that!!

Yeh, great show from the lads. Beaver's R5 group was brutal and Joe gutsed it out in the losers bracket once again.

Anyone worked out how we might be able to tap into the internet coverage on ESPN3 on Friday night?

It looks like espn3 is blacking out non-us residents. But install some sort of anonymizer and it should/could work since espn (or anybody else for that matter) can't detect where you are connectiong from if you use an anonymizer. I use hot spot shield for torrents, visa-payments etc.

It might even be the only way  Grin

...or not.....it seems like it doesn't work. Might have to google this one.

In this day and age I think it's a parody that we can't see 1 second of this event!

I spent 6 hours yesterday to find a way..............It CAN'T be done from what I can see.  I googled 30 pages deep (more than once!) to try an find an answer.  It seems that ESPN has perfected this better than the likes of Hulu!  Doesn't matter where you are in the world, you ISP (Internet Service Provider) has to be on the list of sites that SUBSCRIBE to EPSN3.

They prepared this for the World Cup in 2010, and did it VERY well.

No hacks out there.

Shawn.

If my hacker guru friend can find a way, I'll post it up ASAP.

It could work if your anonymizer/remote proxy is on any of the ISP's on the espn3 list. I don't think Hot Spot Shield is. I connected/disconnected a few times this morning and checked the IP at whatismyip.com but it was the same ISP the 2-3 times I tried. It's somewhere in California.

But, it still asks you to log in with your ISP 1st............I think that is the biggest hurdle, no?

You're already logged in with your ISP, and espn3 knows which one it is when you enter their site. But if you remote proxy to espn3 via a proxy-service which is running on an ISP-network that is on the ESPN list, you should be fine. So I think this is the biggest hurdle, finding a software that runs in the us and is an ISP on ESPNs list.

Yesterday I watched a documentary about how wavesurfing in the 70's went from a traditional Hawaiian hobby to a multi gazillion business...................and it wasn't by making the sport less accessible....accessable....??

Joe in the final 8!! Great piece of work. He went to the losers side after R2 and has hit more than anyone else this year. Last chance too.
And Dan Konyk, you´ll make it next year to final 8. Great hitting as well!!
