Had some competitors not travelled from away we probably would have postponed the regional final today. It was 9 celcius with a headwind gusting to 55kmph.

Final Results

Senior
1st Roy Alminas - advances to worlds 2010 (alpha/HOF)

Open
1st Tanner Gayton - advances to worlds 2010 (Bang/Accuflex)
2nd Scott Belliveau - advances to worlds 2010 (Adams/UST)

Not at all easy running one of these and hitting . I believe I scuffed in another 4th place finish (was 4th in Quebec regional as well in pitch darkness). I feel the event went pretty well, hopefully competitors feel the same

Thanks to Roy, Kevin, Andrew's father , Chris Clarke and everyone else that helped out during the week spotting balls
Really REALLY good grid that 362 days a year is straight down wind

Congrats to all who advanced. This is a really good grid but we got really unlucky with the conditions the past two days.

I'm sure everybody in long drive has seen Roy's swing numerous times so I don't need to tell you about it.  Tongue The two open division guys, Tanner and Scott, both have great golf swings which really helped them battle the conditions.

As always, Carson did a great job organizing and running the event. Other than my swing and the weather, everything went smooth. Thanks to Chris "Captain CB" Clarke for the venue.

Congrats Carson for putting this on, another good event under dubious weather conditions.

Next year Kevin!

Congrats to all attendees and those going to Mesquite.  Glad to see Roy A. get in...he has been around FOREVER!

Thanks Steve & Lisa.

Although the weather didn't cooperate, Carson did a great job with this event.  The set-up & the grid were really good, the whole event was run very well, and the people were very friendly.
