Tried to look on line for any regulations for conforming driverheads but couldn't find much . I am looking for specific weights , size , face thickness , all the details that make a conforming head .

Thanks in advance

There ain't a company out there that is going to tell you all those specs.

Good luck.

A qualified engineer and a hack saw.

Seriously if you are looking to get into the business your going to have to find a manufacturer that will help you. I could be wrong but I think only the big names do their own stuff. Everyone else is outsourcing. Find them and I am sure they will work with you on all that.

I just realized something.. Are you looking to find out if a particular head is conforming or not? If so go to longdrivers.com and I am sure you can find it on there.

More than a few of you would be more than surprised if you really knew.

But the fact is... it clearly doesn't matter.

Mike, I don't think most would be surprised that every major company has their heads made overseas.  Ping was the last to do so in 2008.  Thats why we have the influx of counterfeit heads,  the molds get pilfered and made at another foundry.  That's what happens when you make a dollar an hour.  And that is the ceiling as far as labor goes.
