We are thinking about doing a serious training at Orresta 11th or 12th September for you who want a good hitting session. It will be at most 200 kronor.

We will try a new format, not to the full extent that I want, but nonetheless a new one.
It will be 5 rounds of hitting. Each round will count, if you hit 320 on average you will get 1600m in total. If you have an OB session in one round you´ll have to hit 400 on average to equal that.

After 5 rounds there will be a final with 2 or if we are enough players maybe a semi before that for the highest on the leaderboard.

We´ll do it the 12th then. Lets say 13.00. A small fee, 200SEK and that includes balls and a pricefund.

AP, Tony, Jimmy O, CJ and Kari will probably come too. Please check if any more guys from Uppsala will come. I don´t have any numbers to them and don´t know if they read incepta.

I wish I could make it, but I have messed up my back and will probably not be able to hit golf balls for some time Sad

Today we practiced/competed at Orresta. We had the sort of wind we would have liked at Uddala Masters in August. A nice little downwind.

We tried a new format and here is how it played out. All measurement in METERS.
                R1         R2         R3        R4        R5       R6        Total
Tony         360       371       355      371       370      336       2163 Meters
Kari           385        -         376      376       362      366       1865 Meters
Jimmy O     377       379       388      363       366      369       2242 Meters
CJ             412       397       390      391       379      376       2345 Meters
AP            372       381       390      393       366      394       2296 Meters

In the final CJ:s 396 meter beat AP:s 392 meter.

As you see Kari:s ob set cost too much but it was easy to see the leaderboard and every set count. If you´re ob one set you just have to hit it longer next time to compensate. Hard in 6 rounds but nonetheless..

Congrats CJ for good hitting and winning.

Cheers

A good day of practice as always at Orresta!

Good hitting Ceejay, just when are you planning on learning to hit the ball by yourself?

Doesn't seem too serious, I just have to take it easy for a while.

Nice hitting, by the way!
